A Tree for Jen's Forest

I have been absent recently here in blog land because I have been sewing like crazy on two important projects...both completed! Yea! Photos to follow.

Today I completed a block for Jen in the Bee Unique bee. She asked for a tree block and this is mine...

I have to admit that I have never sewn a zig-zag applique before but I loved how quick and easy this went together. I love the "wood grain" fabric Jen sent for the truck of the tree. Such a cute idea!
